Default corner carver.. needs your help!

i have a auto.

i dont plan racing with my car. but SOMETIME (only sometimes) i like to glide on the road. DRIVING.. so power is not much i care for.. i think the TC STOCK is good enough, if i can buy bolt ons to give me 200hp i'd be super happy... but power gain aside

i face some decent curves on the road. i just want a more smoother ride everytime I TAKE THESE TURNS.

I AM SO CONFUSED... coilovers..springs..shocks...struts? sway? rear struts?

I have no clue where to start and what part to read up and purchase.

Anyone have time to reply and give me some tips/advice?

I dont like LOWERED CARS... so this may be a HUGE "!?!?!?" for whoever is reading, im willing to lower a bit (as little as possible please).... but aside height what else can i do to make my ride on the corners better?

Get stiffer shocks, you will sacrifice ride quality though. The trd springs offer the least amount of drop .75", these will make handling and body roll much better. I had HUGE improvements with my tein h techs. Also buy front and rear sways, the rear sway make the biggest difference of them all. In my HONEST opinion I believe the biggest thing you can do to improve your handling is get BETTER TIRES, everyone underestimates this, the stock tires are a major POS, get some yokohamas es100s and you will be set.

Deffinetly dont get Kumho Ecsta 712 Supras. I am totally dissapointed with these tires. They last but the wet weather traction sucks.

go with the trd setup springs struts and rear sway bar the drop will not be that much only 1.25 inch. this is an easy to install package and will be well under 1000 dollars.

I 100% agree. The TRD setup is a very nice upgrade without a harsh ride but better all around performance. Very balanced and predictable. If you really want the improvement get the shock and springs at the same time. In the end you will be much happier with the performance.

For tires, I would reccomend looking at the Hankook Ventus RS-2. Very inexpensive with great handling ability. I am planning to get these tires when I get my new wheels soon. I have heard nothing but good reviews from this tire.

Perfect fit for the stock 17" wheels: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...66&rd=17&ar=45

All that for about $1500 and it will totally transform the car.

Putting bigger rims on your car WILL hurt performance if that is what you want. The ideal size IMHO are 17" (PERFORMANCE WISE).

as of right now the trd are the only struts made that are an upgrade for stock. also the sway bar from trd makes a huge dif in handaling and only cost about 130 dollars for what you would pay for 18's you could buy all your suspension and prob new preformance tires for your 17's

gosh this im gonna have to do some compromising. when u say getting bigger rims will hurt my performance

I want 18's i guess i cant go any bigger.. wanted 19's. but i will try to stick to 18's

i think its a great size. also want rims just mainly because there are more tC out on the road now..i just want to set a GAP from mines to theirs.

I will definately look into SPRINGS+SHOCKS by TRD..maybe this will help BALANCE my sin on getting a slightly bigger rim.
