The first thing I did to my car was drop it so I traded my stock assembly with Hotchkis springs for a set of MR coilovers plus $275 not too long ago. Thought it was a good deal, right? Well, it turns out this guy had a blown rear coilover. I told him and he thought it was something about adjustment so I checked it out again and it was for sure! He had told me that he was going to replace it with a new set so I said cool. Waited 1 month of not driving my car very often and I told him to get me my Hotchkis back. We switched suspension today and turns out the same rear was blown. I know I didn't put it together all jacked up like this, I said! It had a rip over the dust cover, the spring was not seeded correctly and the bump stop got jacked up. WTF! Now, I'm rolling on messed up suspension again. Not as bad as the first time, but still bottoms out in the rear when I hit big bumps. Any feedback on this one. I only put 4k on the hotckis myself and he put 2k.
