On the fronts is the shock supposed to almost touch the front axle when slamming?

not sure what you mean i never really "slammed" it except for the day i installed them to see how it would look.. how about some pics? maybe i can better answer.

I never touched anything but the spring perches for adjusting height. you can adjust other parts of the suspension but i decided to leave them as is to keep the recommended clearance.

Love these coilovers. Been rocking them for about 3 months now. Compared them to a buddy's tein basis and it's night and day (that's even with me being on 5 clicks from the firmest)

I think what he was referring to in the previous post or so is that if you slam them (which I tried for a week) you are actually limited by the axle/ half shafts in the front and not limited by the coilover itself. Unfortunately I slammed mine and later found out I tore the passenger cv boot :?

That is probably the only con to these coilovers for me! Best purchase I've made to date!

^ that is what I meant. Sucks that the axle is in the way but what I did was bring the coil as close as I could to the axle and messed with spring.

Yeah that is true. When I did mine and wasn't thinking straight, I had mine like a credit card thickness away from that dang cv boot. Definetly not recommended. But yeah you can always get it close then loosen up that spring and still slam it

Thanks for this review GripKing!

I ended up picking these up last year after reading your review, but never got them installed until this summer. Switched over from H-Techs on stock struts and the difference is ridiculous. That and a good alignment!

I'll have to try your tire pressure settings.

These look exactly like the 2nd gen Ksport coilovers I scored off of Craigslist for 600 bucks brand new in the box. They are also an incredible difference over my stock struts with TRD white springs. I will be turning the rebound up tomorrow on the front and back since they are both have the same specs on the spring rate.
Great write up on the D2 RS Coilovers.

I took your advise and cranked up the damping and she rides way better. I can't believe how much more responsive the car is now. It truly is like driving a go kart in the corners now. Even at almost 4 dollars a gallon all I want to do is drive the Tc.

I'm thinking about buying a set if these from a buddy or buy bc coilovers.... I'd because I keep hearing great things from both.... any opinions?
