dezod endlinks v1 --broke---pics
i don't even autocross my tc
I felt that something is wrong with the car but i thought that maybe new tires caused it but after hearing some knocking noises i knew that something is wrong and i thought that strut is blown, afer checking the strut which seems to be ok i checked the sway bar i grease the bushings and take a drive but the noise was still there.
I seems that the ball join didn't hold i will definitally post pics later on tonight after i take it out. I'm glad that McMaster is around so i can order stronger ball joints like in v2 dezod endlinks

after closly looking at the endlink i must admit this
The whole force was pushing how the red arrows goes. The yellow shows where it broke ( the other side ).
The whole stres was on the body of the joint rod and not on the ball. The problem seems to be with the swaybar ( hotchkis ) cause i couldn't set up the endlinks to face the swaybar straight forward...... i checked the second one ( endlink ) and it was bended in the same place so it would broke soon.
The question is ..If this should hold almost 5000 pounds of load and it broke maybe it's not enought. I ordered new joint rods and those hold up to 9544 pounds

Wow, there is deffinetly something installed correctly there.
And the rust going on under your car is insane. The sway bar and everything else is just waiting to have issues.

that's the problem with the hotchkis sway.
I tried so many lengths of endlink so it lined in with sway but thats the best angle ( smallest one ) i could get.
check the link it's from dezod website.

The face where you mount the endlink at the hotchkis sway is at a different angle them the progress one.
If there is someone who have the endlinks with the hotchkis sway i would be greatfull if pics are posted

On my first set, I intalled them incorrectly, they were angled like that, then they broke. Then, on my second set I used washers as spacers to make the assembly more vertical. I adjusted the height so that the bolts going through the sway were vertical. So far no problems...*knock on wood*
