I have Stechs and you definitely want a camber kit. After a year of being on with no camber kit you can definitely see the wear down of the tire is not even in the rear.

Yea you would definitely notice alot sooner, like 4 months......But maybe yours wasnt as bad as Yanki01's.....he really needs a camber kit in the rear...and if you have stock struts then there is no camber kit in the front, only that rear.....In then front, they sell aftermarket bolts that replace your strut bolts, that allows you to push or pulls your camber back into specs....very easy to do

But please people take care of your alignments, they are alot more important than most think....I dont get to align that many tc's to align around here, but when i do they are usually all messed up, and its sad cause it takes me like 20mins to do it, and cost the customer, tires+alignment...

Dunno, like wrath said, mine prob wasnt as bad as some, I did have an alignment done and I can start to tell the inside tread is wearing down faster then the outside.

i would def get a camber kit, its on the top of my lists of to gets, too much neg camber (like you yanki, same as me except i think mine is a little worse) can chew through tires and your ball joints. and when those go well you dont want them to. camber will put too much stress on the ball joints and cause premature wear so i would definatly reccomend getting a camber kit to at least put it back to factory spec, and i would get an alignment otherwise your caster and toe could be off and you could get a pull to one side, and you will wear through parts like crazy, luckily i havent had any problems (knocks on wood) but as soon as money starts flowin in again im gettin me the hotchkis camber link.

oh and fyi camber is non adjustable on the tC you would need a camber kit to adjust it, you cant jsut go to a shop and have them adjust camber

unless you've done it before or mechanically gifted, id say let a pro do it. I think i might go ahead and grab a set of Hotchkis. Ill try another shop to see what they can do about the neg camber i have?

I'm going to get the TRD springs so it's 1.25''

Would I need the camber kit since a few of you post up on here that you only need it if it's about 2 or higher??

i would say you would be borderline with h tech and hotchkis, but s tech and the likes DEFINATELY need a camber kit...

i went to another location (same shop) to see what they can do and without looking at it he said i would need aftermarket unless it has adjustable cams? Im guessing ill be getting the Hotchkis camber links within the next month. Anyone tackle the install on their own? I have a lifetime allignment at the shop and they say $40/wheel for the install. So $80 since its only the rears? Think thats a good price for labor? Here's a better pic with something to see. The box is straight as my wheels are not. Its my DD so i want to take care of the tires and wheels aswell.
