yeah they do that. I have heard of that happening to a lot of guys on the cavalier and sunfire forums. I never had the problem myself. I made sure to use Loctite on the threads and crank them down hard. about 55lb-ft of torque.

I used red because it was all I had around that day. Didn't matter because I never planned on taking them apart again.
Oh and double check that torque spec. I know they specify a torque on their instructions.

COOL...I almost got the KONI's...I went w/ Tokico's instead...did NOT wanna mess w/ modifying the front assembly!...lol...

They probably wont disassemble, because the first time you bolted them together the bolt should have drawn the assembly into the housing and the little nubs on the assembly should be wedged in the housing now. If you can do it while the car is on the ground go for it.
