Default EMERGENCY!!! just installed hotchkis springs- have a problem

so i just installed my hotchkis springs, the rears took a while but finally got them in along with the fronts. so i put everything back together and the wheels back on and off the jacks and stands and notice that one side, the passenger side rear, the top of the strut is messed up, its coming apart it looks like.

that is what the other side looks like and what it looks like with the wheel off and jacked up off the ground

that is what happens with the wheel back on and sitting on the ground(how i would drive the car)
why is it doing this? what did i do wrong?
someone please help me!!! thank you

That doesn't look right, I know the rears are a ROYAL pain in the butt, but I would take it out and redo and reseat that whole shock. I know what you're thinking, but it's better than possible future situations.

Make sure you have all the correct bushings/spacers in place.
