Finally dropped the tC...
I did the install on Friday. H&R suspension, compliments of Dezod.com.
Perfect drop! Rides excellent, and the suspension is ISO certified (higher certification than US requirements). The car settled to a lil more than a 1.5" drop.
I'll post up pics either tomorrow night or Monday.
Mods are: H&R springs, TRD exhaust, oem lip kit, fogs, blue interior lights, obx pedals, JL 500/5 amp, JL 10W3, Viper alarm with paging remote (and screen), misc silver decals, hotchkis bar, aem oil cap and battery tie down.
I'm installing the Apexi RSM soon, along with some more hush hush mods. Until then, I can only talk about what I have now.

Yea I was interested in doing the H&R setup paired with TRD shocks. The drop from the TRD springs doesn't do much for me and I'd like to see pics with the H&R springs, which hopefully looks a bit more aggressive. It's hard to find a medium between wimpy drop (TRD) and extreme drop (something like GoldLine springs that offer a 2" + drop..)
Pics! :D
Pics! :D
I went with the H&R springs too. Ride is great and drop is perfect. Check it out.

Tc,
that definetely looks cool, in the same time HRs are very decent spreing when it comes to quality, ride, hadnling etc...
Question, are the HRs progrewwsive all around (all four springs)?
Also, did you ever question HR on installing the sprng with stock dampers?
My ceoncern is if these spring have higher rates (progressive???) that there is more required from the dampers.. Generally, AFAIK, the rates on springs should be lower
that dampers otherwise the damper is "OVERSRESSED".
Do you have any info?
I am currently looking at boht HR and TEIN springs and have not decided yet...
Once again,
good job,

The H&Rs are progressive on all four springs. The spring rates are stiffer than stock, and it's slightly noticeable. I don't see having long term reliability as a major problem, because the TRD springs are only .4" less of a drop, while still having a more aggressive spring rate.
If I ever blow my shocks, then I'll get the TRD shocks, until then, it's all good.

AFAIK the damper is supposed to be stiffer that the spring so it can "tame" it. Otherwise it will die in a disastrous way... Let's see how good is the stock damper... BTW, what is the class/brand of your HRs i.e. sport, race?
i believe the hr springs are linear if i'm not mistaken... also, only the sport springs are the only ones available, again, if i'm not mistaken. i also contacted h&r for spring rates, all i was given was that they are 25-30% stiffer than stock.
