Default front strut resembly problem.

Today, i installed my bg rear springs and moved on to the front. I compressed my stock springs down and removed them. I dissembled the strut and placed my bg front spring on, and realized they are much shorter than stock. I placed everything on back on the strut and then I noticed the top of my spring didn't even reach the top metal piece, so how is it suppose to stay in place? Then i played around with it and I found out i can push it up and down, then i thought maybe that's the compression, maybe when the i lower the jacks and the car's weight falls down it will compress it, but this worries me alot, that the spring is so loose within the strut. Any idea or something you see wrong? Thank you.

it should be fine. when your car is on the ground the strut will compress and the spring will be touching. only problem i see is when your car goes up and down driveways it will make noise. my hyundai accent rears were the same way.
