General question about mods.
Hey guys, I recently purchased the 06 Silver Streak tC. It's about three months old and I would like to do some stuff to it already. I would like to spend some money on it but not too much and also not on crappy parts. My first question is: Which type of springs would offer me a good drop with my stock wheels? I am also considering for now on using my stock struts in the meantime with the springs. My second and last question is, and probably the most stupid one: I am also planning on tinting my windows, and would like both the front and rear side windows to have a 20% shade and, OK I know this might sound stupid coming from me
***but*** has anyone ever put a silver to black shade tint in the trunk window of a silver tC. Just a thought guys...thanx for any info that anyone of you can give me!

'06 is classic silver. '05 is silver streak mica
a good mild drop is the TRD springs, if you're looking for more, i'd say progress or s-techs
more info can be found here on suspension stuff:

silver to black shade tint? as in changing like the suntek infinity op? that's fine..
or a silver to black fade? cause personally i haven't seen one.. nor would like to. i'd just keep it consistent. cleaner looking that way.

20% tint is the perfect shade for the tc. not too dark or too light,. and depending where u live, u might want to think about tinting or not tinting the front windows cause in some states, it is illegal to tint the front.
I ended up going 28% in the front and 18% in the rear (to stay legal) and the more than I look at it, the more that I wish i went with 18% all the way around. If you tint it, keep it the same on all the windows, it'll look alot better!
As for springs, well i'm kinda biased, but S-Tech's are awesome springs. Great drop and I hardly ever scrap even though the car is almost on the ground. i think alot of this has to do with decent quality roads in my area. The ride is a bit more harsh than stock, but after a while, you get used to it. If you have alot of potholes, dips, etc etc, go for something like hotchkis or progress. these dont have as much of a drop, but still look and feel great.

For my car, with stock 17s and retaining the stock shocks, I'm getting hotchkis.
