Vogtland Springs from eBay. $153 shipped. 1.6" in the front 1.4" in the back. Even though I'm on 17s there is no sag at all, and I think they'd look good with 18s.

i have the problem with the TRD's!!! i would highly recommend getting the HR sport because of this

as you can see, im much lower in the rear than in the front. for this reason, im going to switch out the TRD's for the HR sport. does anyone know if TRD's are warrantable for sagging?

I lowered the contrast to minimum so you could see the gap easier.

The rear I liked, but I just wish the front settled the same way...then TRD's would be perfect.

The bumpstops were actually only cut for shock travel and that only applied to the front since the rear still had enough travel. It won't affect ride height.

Without the extra travel you'd feel the shock hitting the bumpstop causing a disturbing thud like bottoming out. When you take the suspension appart you'll see what I mean.

I did install my suspension myself, and there really isn't anything in the process that would easily mess up the height since everything locks in and only goes one way. The only thing one could mess up on is maybe stripping/breaking bolts or having them too loose (not having proper torque spec)

Here are some DIY Tech articles with pictures so you can see what all goes on. Front Install
Rear Install

It depends on your offset. Do you happen to know the width of your wheel and the offset?

As a rule of thumb if your offset is close to stock you won't rub. It's only when you run wide and agressively low offset is when you will rub (and you will need fender cut/rolling or pulling and maybe camber adjustments and/or stretch tires if it's really extreme), but if you have a modest drop such as TRD or H&R the rubbing will only happen on dips, on smooth roads you won't be rubbing at all.

And yea H&Rs seems to be a rare thing on SL. I've only seen TRD, Hotchkis, Tien, Eibach, and Tanabe. They are out there, just not alot of people seem to take pictures of them much, if at all.

You can find it behind the wheel. You have to take off the wheel.

It looks as if though the offset is +42, and if I am correct then you will have no rubbing issues.
