Help! Broken wheel bearing

Default Help! Broken wheel bearing

Lately I've noticed that my front passenger side squeals a lot when I'm coming to a stop so I checked it out today... I found out that one of my wheel bearings are cracked and broke off when I took off the lug nuts.

So I'm changing the wheel bearing right now and I'm stuck cause it won't come out. (pics below) I tried hammering it out, but it won't budge anymore. Any suggestions?
I'm actually tempted to remove the whole hub. Does anyone know what size the bolt is the holds the hub?

i had to do this also when someone tried to steal my rims. i guess maybe they turned it the wrong way. but trying to get the stud off is PITA. just keep hammering the crap out of it though until it pops out. cant really give you any other instructions besides that, because that is what i did.

and for the stud size. just go to autozone and they can tell you what size it is.

this is an easy fix. Open your hood and I beleive the screw you need to use is one that attaches your radiator to the front. Unscrew it and use that to screw into the open hole on your hub at some point as you screw it in you will hear a "pop" and your hub will pop off. Then unscrew the bolt and replace it back in the place you took it from. Easy as pie.

By the way.....you can hammer all you want if you re feeling like you need to take out aggression but you will save blisters, banged up hands and about 2 hours of your time doing how I said above!

I believe you're speaking about the rotor... I have that off already.

yea he is, the wheel stud get a big phillips head screwdriver or a punch and hammer on that to knock that stud out.
