Default Help! having a problem with my tc

Ive had my tc since feb and ive only driven 2300 miles since then. Last month i had Goldline coil springs installed (2inch drop) been driving all month on them nothing wrong loved the drop and ride was awsome, until tonight i drove home from a friends house and i hear this banging noise (sounds like rocks or metal hitting on metal) coming from the front left wheel area under my foot area of the car. The noise only happens when i go over any slight bump on the road , these arnt speed bumbs these are little bumps that normally you shouldnt have to do anything even being lowered 2 inches. Wonder if strut blew? would i be able to still drive if that happened? or if its something else i dont know.

btw... for the people that might think im hitting the bottom of my car on the road , thats not happening its more in the spring strut area of the car

You might want to check all the nuts and bolts in that area. With the increased stress on suspension parts it wouldnt be surprising that something got loose

just went in the car again to give a better describtion of the sound.... and it does sound little like if something wasnt fully screwed on tight and a metal piece is going up and down on the screw.... one other thing i noticed is looking under the car i see a wet spot which is coming from the front ...it doesnt look like oil or anything it had no smell ..i think its just water maby not sure...is that normal or could that be something related with my problem?

If you have been using the AC lately then it is just condensation dripping from the AC system. Totally normal. Everycar does this. If you havent been using the AC then you should get it checked.

i talked to the guy who did my springs , he hasnt seen the ride yet but he thinks it could be lose bolt or the springs need a damper sleeve . I hope its something minor....... i curious if i would be able to still drive with a blown strut and wouldnt it be leaking oil if it were? Well we will see ... ill let you guys know whats up

ahhh thought i should let everyone on this board know that it wasnt nothing even major .... the top screw wasnt tight so it rattled when it hit the bump . Thank god it was something that wasnt serious one bit. If any one of you guys install springs on your car and few weeks after you hear a rattle when driving over a bump make sure u screw that screw on top of the strut real real tight
