hi friend, I really need answer for lowering spring please!
Dear buddies,
I have 2006 scion tc. I plan put the aftermarket spring on it and drop my TC. I have read and see many kinds of lowering spring in this forum like S-tech,H-tech,Hotchskis, TRD. But I still confuse about it. Which is the best lowering spring?
Honestly, I like Hotchskis drop.
If I use lowering spring,Do we need to change the into aftermarket shock ? I concern about blow out shock
Do I need an allignment?
Do I need struts bar?
Thank you guys for the answer. Have a nice ride

most of the springs you can use with the stock shocks.... which is the best one is all up to your prefrence because they pretty much are all good. You will need an allignment and you dont have to have strut bars. But the strut bar would help out alot.
This is the sticky at the top of the Suspension page:

htech is real nice with 18"s, stech real nice with 17"s. hotchikis are about in the middle of those two. the lower you go, the better you may look, but the more stress you put on the shocks. with those types of springs you'll eventually want to replace the shocks and/or struts, but it probably isnt a necessity for 10-15k miles, maybe more if you don't drive too aggressively.
