thanks neo. i feel like i may be already rubbing with the TRDs in the front. i had my pass side fenderline rip out on me while i was on the freeway when i first got them about 3 weeks ago. and when i go over big dips i can hear what i think is rubbing on the inside on teh front drivers side. i will take the wheel off and check for sure tho. i think im going to stick with the htechs.

I have Htechs with 18x8 35 offset, with 225/40/18's and I rub over bumps and such, but not bad

^^ are you sure it's rubbing and not scraping the front end...they sounds similar...check under your front bumper for scrape marks...
i live in cali and i got the H-Techs and have NEVER rubbed once...but i've scraped a little in the front bumper...nothing noticeable because it's under the car...not the exposed part of the lip
