Default I Highly Recommend...

I've had my lowered for about 8-9 months now and it's really low! I knew that my camber and toe was way off but i didn't realize how bad until i felt my tires one day. The inside of the tire was wearing and feathering. No problem...i went to my local performance shop, PTUNING and got one of the new batches of SPC rear control arms. They installed them and did a four-wheel alignment. Now my car is back to factory specs on the alignment and it feels so much better going down the road. In all, Ground Control adjustable sleeve-over with Eibach springs, TRD front tower car, TRD rear sway bar, SPC rear control arms, and a foctory spec alignment=one heck of a tight cornering ride. It will be better when i upgrade to Tein or Progress coilovers.

If you don't mind me asking, how much have you spent on your suspension so far? I want to lower my car, but I don't have the money for coil overs right now. But I should soon.

Do you have any pics or a link to these control arms? I am interested in anything that comes out suspension-wise.

My car was the prototype car for the rear control arms. Im on TRD springs and soon as they put them on I could visually tell the difference that my wheels were straight and not tilted anymore. Tire wear should be a lot better now. The guys at SPC know what their doing when it comes to alignment and suspension.

I believe thats the part. Kinda surprised its out already, they just put the arms on my car about a month ago. They just probably haven't updated the site yet. Ill tell them about it when I go back to their place later this month.

Ok, was cleaning off my exhaust yesterday and while I was under there I couldn't see it. Its probably only visible on jacks or a lift.

Hey guys, i'm really sorry about not getting back...NO, that is the old part!!! SPC has been replacing it with a new updated part. That part has been known to break under stress at the weak point(you can see where that would be). My car is in the shop for a Greddy Turbo so when i get it back, i will take pics! It's the upper control arm by the way!

Here is an EBAY link for the new updated part...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SPC-R...QQcmdZViewItem

My car has a 2.5" drop using Ground Control with Eibach springs, TRD front tower bar, and TRD rear sway bar. My entire alignment is back to factory specs with this new control arm!

Sorry for the late response!

Actually I have the new SPC rear arm installed on my 07..... It is actually a +2 degree fixed arm....

Mechanic says that it is not necessary for the front though....[/img]
