and my rears are too damn high! am i on crack? i had stech's and trd struts and i swear they were lower than this.

what am i doing wrong? is there any way to modify it to get a lower drop? my fronts are low as crap but my rear looks 4x4 status.

im disappointed hardcore.

 

this is bs, i'm comparing to shinjai or wahtever and it's not even close. what hte hell am i doing wrong?! am i supposed to compress the rear spring with the perches to hell? because the bottom mount won't screw up anymore it's turned all the way up now

I agree with DJ, you definitely have to wait for the springs to settle. Some people remove the perch but I don't think its worth it. Just wait 2 or 3 weeks and you should be fine.

 

i need to take a picture, even if i remove a perch it doesn't do anything as these are height adjusted through the bottom mount not the perches and spring position...

i still have wheel gap, that's the weird part. wheel gap shouldn't exist right?

 

what size wheels and tires are you running?

 

Hey bro what I did and shinjai did and prolly many others is max them out than adjust the perch rings. Cause dude the rears go mad low without modifications. Now the fronts are another story..now thats what disappointed me. And I modified them. I removed two perch rings.

 

This is how low they go maxed out..

 

Does it have the spinny locks with the ratchet type keys? Take the bottom ring off and put it all the way down.

 

did you make sure you twisted the strut in to go lower? when i had them i just did that and pretty much left where the spring was and i was pretty low in the rear.

 

didn't you buy these used off 05fmtc? or something like that? there shouldn't be a need to settle them.

i'm on stock wheels for now while waiting for my ccw's.

my fronts are low as *****. i'm not having trouble with that.

what i did is turn the perch right under the spring all the way up to set the springs preload then locked that with the second ring and then turn the bottom mount part all the way up until it wouldn't turn anymore and locked it all in with the third ring

i'll take pictures for sure tomorrow morning. maybe i'm doing this totally wrong.

how low is the front? and what you wanna do for the rear is take some of that pre load off. Loosen the perch rings and lower them.
