i need help w/ springs..
ok so i have an 08 bsp tc. =)
i decided its about time to give her a nice drop but i need help finding springs.
i want about a "2 finger width" gap and i currently have the stock 18" wheels on my ride. im planning on staying with 18s.
i need something to give me a good drop but also a good ride, i been looking into the tein s-techs.
any help is GREATLY appreciated.
thanks guys.

s techs too low if you want a two finger gap. try h-techs. even that MIGHT be a lil less than two fingers once settled. i recommend the h-techs though. if thats still to low you can always do trds. best advice is to just save up and get coilovers so you can adjust it the way you want.. if you have money hah.
i would suggest the TRDs if u want a 2 finger gap. i have the H-techs and i have less than a finger settled. im on 18s as well.
also, u might want to look into struts, im about to blow out my front left strut cuz i didnt want to get struts earlier.

go with h-techs i thought it was going to be to low but it came out perfect about 1-2 finger gap depending on how big your hands are, a trd drop will barely drop it. I couldnt be more satisfied with my drop right now. i say h-tech's FTW!! btw im running 235/45/17 if that helps.
here is a pix of my gap after it settled. Yes i know they are motegi but these are my daily driver wheels, i cant put on my other rims and get them jacked now lol. And yes i do have 2 different kinds of lug nuts on my rims lol. it slows the thieves down if they ever try to jack me hahaha..

let me just start off by telling you that you are beautiful
now....I would go with H-techs in your situation.....my buddy has the full TRD suspension and it's not as complimenting to the tC as it should be...
I'm on S-techs and love it so TEIN is surely trustworthy......
GL with your decision

for me that would be a 1 finger and a half. she is on 18s as well, while ur on 17s so theres about a finger. assuming that her hands are smaller cuz shes a girl. ur drop should be about a bit less or about 2 fingers for her. i would suggest H-techs cuz i love the drop on 18s, but if she wants a 2 finger gap then i would say the h-techs wouldnt be it. if she does go h-techs, which is what i would suggest along with many of the others here. get stiffer struts, cuz i rub like crazy when turning aggressively, along with scraping with the crappy roads here.
thanks so much for the feedback everyone! i greatly appreciate it.
but... i am considering on going to the eibach sportline kit for springs. i randomly found a vendor here on the site and so im considering them..
anyone try them out or have them? hows the ride?
I believe they wil give me about a 2 inch drop all around..
let me know!

The Eibach Sportline (-2.0") has an even larger drop than the H-Techs (-1.9"), which are going to give you less than two fingers..
Go with H&R Sport's. 1.4" drop all around. More than the TRD, less than H-Tech's, and a lot of people use them on here.
