Default installed s techs but I want to go lower in the back

I just installed the Tein S Tech springs on my tc and I love them. Except I would like to go lower in the back so it matches how low the front is. about 0.5"-1" lower. I just lowered it yesterday so i will see how much it settles before I do anything else.

How would I go about doing this? Does anybody make struts that when added to the stechs will make it lower?

I have two other options. #1 cut a little bit of the s tech spring with a low heat producing method. Would you advise this?

#2 break out my welder and modify the control arm so the strut mounts lower.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Youll pretty much never be happy with the way springs settle. Coilovers lets you control how low you want each side. But I believe tokiko struts are a bit lower....correct me if im wrong

Can anybody confirm that tokico struts drop the rear by themselves?

I think I will buy a set of control arms from a junk yard and fab them so that the strut will mount an inch lower. It will act just like lowering control arms that you can buy for trucks. It will be far cheaper than coilovers and if all else fails I'll still have my stock set.

Any opinions?

Well I bought coilovers today.

I've been into lowering trucks for years. I have a mid 90's chevy fullsize that has been airbagged and bodydropped 3". The rocker panel lays on the ground and it tucks 22's. I've bagged a few trucks for myself and friends over the years and I just get stuck in that frame of mind that i can make anything work with a sawzall and a welder.

Thanks for all the help.
