Just installed S-Tech's but forgot...
people.............BUMP STOPS DO NOT AFFECT THE HEIGHT OF THE CAR!!
thats why they're calle "bump-stops" because they stop the shock from bottoming out when there is lots of suspension travel!

2 yrs with s-techs and stock shocks with uncut bump stops and it's still good, i do have any extra set of bump stops that i might cut and see if it does or does not go lower.....just to kill time as well LOL.
your all crazy!! LMAO
its possible that the springs were not sitting right on the top or bottom mounts, and when they happened to cut the bumpstops, the ride lowered some more, lol
if you look at your struts, you can see that the bumpstop is just sitting there, doing nothing..........waiting for the day you run into that huge pothole! lol

from what i have observed you can cut the rear strut bumpstoppers and your rear will lower down which is highly unrecommended to attempt, but i definitely DOUBT the fronts will drop like that because, the bumpstopper moves freeely up and down the struts rod....
my guess is whoever believes that cutting the bumpstops lower their car, mostly like your car is very close to bottoming out anyway so cutting will add the extra play with very low, extra stiffened springs to prevent sagging or shocks from bumps. so, you guys must be bottoming out ALOT to DEFAULT and notice the cheapest solution is to cut the bumpstops

like i just said, installing hotchkis springs ONLY is no different then h or s tech that dont provide bumpstops knowing you would bottom out anyway. and hotchkis lowers more then H techs. also those replacement bumpstops are for the front, right?
if you personally get to install them yourself, then you'll notice the rear strut bumpstops sits in place of the top strut mount, so if the rear bumpstops are smaller ur top strut mount should mount assemble further down, giving it the "complete 2" drop" as advertised. for the front it is IMPOSSIBLE to drop your car by cutting the bumpstops.
LOOK under your front struts, do you see the BUMPSTOPS? most likely not cause that black rubber sleeve is covering it which is holding on to the bump stops. you can slide the bumpstop down an observe and thats self explanatory. if you do slide it down, slide it back up the sleeve or your bump stop will crunch in the sleeves aswell when u bottom out.

Haven't been around for a few weeks to check back on my thread... but looks like I stirred up quite a commotion.
Well the car is riding great after having these on for a month now. I think it did settle down a bit more, I will try to get some pics up when the weather is better and I wash the car. It looks the same as everyone else that posted pics with stock wheels and the s-techs.
