the throws are 35% shorter I know from the FAQ, but please tell

is the shift POINT, you know the fulcrum, has that moved backwards closer to the drivers butt as it were, or is it the same centerline.

errrrrr thanks

did you install yourslef? I want the shifter and springs but does buying trd parts from dealer and installing yourself void the warranty on the car? i know that it voids the warranty on the product, but does it affect the 3yr/30,000mi of 5 yr power train? can it be installed be ASE cert. mechanic but not through toyota and maintain warranty? thanks

I think you mean that the fulcrum or pivot point is moved higher on the shaft and not farther back

the shifter was $250, and no it doesnt void the warranty on the powertrain, you just dont get the 1 year on the shifter. I dont know about a ASE tech, anyone can install this by them selfs. TRD does say its 20% and to me thats about perfect if it was more than it would be way to short.
