I'm pretty much set on coilovers now since I live in CO and we get snow and have a lot of dips here, so would be nice to adjust it to the perfect height for this area. $800 for Basics kinda worries me in quality and adjustability as coilovers are usually at least a grand.

basics are not as adjustable as the rest and ss-p comes with the pillowball mount...

The shocks are adjustable but for the rear you have to take them off the car to do so. Granted you will probably find a setting you like after some trial and error and just leave it at that but that sounds like a PITA to me

Actually, I don't do it, with me driving a truck and all, but I have a friend whom I have driven with and he does it and it's rather fun. Just want to be able to go fast and turn without having to worry about bodyroll.

OK, don't let him drive your car Just know that no amount of suspension tuning can make up for poor driving habits. The limits will be raised if you do suspension work but you can still break traction and lose control if you do something unwise. Just learn the car slowly and don't go past it's and your limits

I have decided I am gonna get Megan Racing Coilovers, it has WAY more adujstability than the Tein Basics and they are $100 more (Found them for $900 shipped). And it has pillowball mount whereas the Basics do not. So, more stuff for less cash... What's the min and max drop on it?

Sorry I'm late, work cut off my access to this site. Now I have to work go figure.
The mod on the stock struts is easy as hell. Even if you don’t have the tools it would only cost you around $50.00 for the equipment. Rotor tool $30.00 metal cutting disks $15.00 and hex wrench $5.00. Took about 15 min on the last strut, the first one I cut with a hand saw. If you were not going to do the swap yourself I would go with the coil over setup. I spent around $800 for the setup and did the work myself. For a little more you can get the coilovers and they will be a lot easier to swap. I love the sportline and Koni yellow setup. It's low, stiff, goes over speed bumps easily, and locks to the road when cornering. I decided on this setup because it is the same I used on my RX7 79 setup. It performed well and I figured it would do just as well on the TC, and it did.
