Larger Gap in front with Trd springs/struts, is this normal?

wait for your suspension to settle first.

here is a pictures that i took tonight, this is starting to scare me.. does it really settle that much? i seem to be like an inch or so off from everyone else

its weird its almost like the front tires are smaller or something, ill have to check that tomorrow .
as you can see both wheel wells sit at almost exactly the same at around height, 26"but the tops of the rims are off by about 3/4"
could someone please measure where their full TRD setup sits for me? i would really like to know where the wheel wells should be at when settled.

thanks

Where did you have them installed? Don't want to scare you but they may have installed the Springs wrong. (Front Springs in the rear and vice-versa.) I don't know if that is even possible. (If Springs can be installed that way.) That's my only explanation about the height difference.

i have heard stories like that before with other cars its something ive been worried about but im not sure if its possible on these cars ether. i had it installed at the scion/toyota dealership i bought the car at

thats why im trying to get as much input from other trd spring and strut/shock owners

I'd wait a couple of weeks and see if they settle some more. If by then they haven't settled another inch/inch and a half, I would go back to the dealership and tell them something is wrong. Tell them you wanted it lowered not lifted.

I heard that the springs without the struts really sucks. How true is that?

springs without the TRD struts/shocks are fine unless your a suspension nut.
i say wait for it to settle.
heres mine on the TRDs with stockers, already settled.

theres still a good gap, the TRDs were meant to be pared with 18's IMO

and yea the fronts gonna be a little higher then the back with these cause its an even drop.
