AND yes, that is my stock height...lowering is the first thing we are doing on this car ever lol.... AND unfortunately I just now got home so they didnt get installed today and they are calling for thunderstorms tomorrow....i want these on they are taunting me by sitting on my floor.

the gap in these arent as bad.... and i also got to looking at older scions.... i think i have lower profile tires (stock) on my car than other tc's i have seen...

Not necessarily - I've had Hotchkis springs on stock struts for 80K or so, no problem, and they're a lot lower than where she's at. Others have said the same.
Yes, I've seen posts where people said they blew out the stock struts after only a few thousand miles after lowering, but that's the exception rather than the rule. Especially on a mild drop.

 

thanks! and i didnt get to play, my husband did since i have the flu now...bah but it only took him 2 hours. i would say not bad for someone who never did anything with a tc before.



just depends. i know stocks wear out quicker but everything depends on multiple circumstanes. i know a few dropped on stocks struts and shocks and are still going good 5k-10k miles later with nosigns of any probelms

 

i have the same springs. you will love them once they settle. mine went a little past the numbers on the box. hopefully yours will too
