No problems with scraping at all. (BTW this is tCGuy)...

The car rides great, no problems at all. I sell the springs so I bought them from me I guess? If you guys need quotes on race springs with shipping PM me your zip and I'll let you know.

As for sways... I'm going more aggressive. Progress has new bars (I sell the rear only at the moment) that are usually a lot stiffer than most. It'll give the tC the response I'm looking for. I'm not looking into struts, down the road I plan on putting on the Progress rebuildable coilovers. That's the way to do it if you want all out handling.

But I do agree, on a budget, the TRD/H&R combo should work out very nicely. The springs alone helped get the car a little more stable. I feel more confident driving it now, and it looks much better.

How much does the Progress rear sway run, and where might I be able to purchase it?

Thanks.

tcguy just curious why does the h&r springs lower the front more than the rear? Does that mess up the way the weight is distribution?

are all these pics of the h&r race springs or the sport springs? i was thinking of getting the sport springs so i dont have to change out my shocks... because i read somewhere that if you go over 1.5 in. of a drop, then you should get new aftermarket shocks to go with the setup to prevent "bottoming out". also, i think the reason why the front gets lowered than the rear is because of aerodynamic factors and looks. when the car is at a stop, it looks more aggressive because of its low and slanted apperance. when the car takes off from the stop, the weight shifts to the rear of the car, which then "evens out" the slant so its straight for aerodynamic purposes. this is just what i think.. not that im correct or anything.

Strange... I checked the H&R site out to read the specs on the Project tC and they list the springs as Sport springs at the 1.5" / 2.0" drop. I know the normal sport springs are 1.3" / 1.4" I would rather have the bigger drop if it was available in the sport line. I can't find an email address for H&R to confirm. tCguy, am I going to notice a huge difference in stiffness with the race springs and struts? I'm not going to be racing, I just want much better handling and less roll for the windy roads. Anyone else have the race springs?

Having the front lower than the rear would also move the center of gravity slightly forward which on a FWD car should help with traction off the line. I've heard the moving the CG around too much can screw up the ABS, but I think that is probably bunk since the ABS sensors just go off wheel rotation.
