Lowering
I got tein ss-p coilovers and i wanted to know how low i can adjust them just to have enough clearance and also be street legal, I was going to drop the front about 1.5 inches , is that reasonable, i dont want to hit the curb when im pulling in, any suggestions? I also want the cops to stay off my back lol. I already have a 5% window tint on my car and i dont want them to bust me for that either.
with coilovers you can go pretty low, but by going lower you MIGHT be loosing some comfort? i would check your law because if im right i think your headlights need to be a certain height from the ground? i dont know the law on that one though?
ok, ill check into that, thanks for the good advice, I also had anoter question by the way, why does the tein ss manual says their not intended for street use. Are these illegal or something?
1.5 for front and back is pretty much perfect for handling.
It's also an attractive drop. Looks great. Doesn't look TOO aftermarket, as your wheel gap is comparable to any proper stock BMW... or perhaps barely lower than that.
