Default Megan Coilovers installed

Had Harmonic_TC install them last night. I haven't had time to fully adjust them yet though.

Well, those that said these are overly stiff must have gotten a different set of coilovers. If anything, I would say they are a little too bouncy. I do have a slight banging noise in the back if I hit a large bump at slow speeds. Anything over 25MPH it doesn't happen. This may be fixable once I adjust the suspension a bit. It's way too low in the back anyways.
I drove home on the expressway and they were very comfortable. I barely felt the bumps and the suspension felt very nice. I think I will be very happy with these.

I drove Harmonic_TC's car with Tein SS and EDFC and I would say his car was much stiffer.

They ARE stiff...the bounciness your talking about IS the stiffness... maybe your just lucky and live in an area with minimal potholes/bumps. Im used to it but the big bumps become a b**** sometimes...

I guess I have a different idea of stiff. They are very cushy and bouncy for me.
The big bumps create a very hard bang in the back, I think that is because the springs are fully compressed and there is no more travel in them. This is why I think a stiffer spring may be better in the rear. Over regular bumps though, they feel very nice.

Nice Tim!

Iheard that bang when you left, I wonder if the coil still has a bit of play in it when the shock extends. I bet that you need to tighten the top 2 rings to put more pressure on the coil

Update:
I adjusted the height last night so all four corners are even. I'm going to leave it like this for a week or so because I can tell that the springs are still settling.

I actually loosened the spring perches to allow for more travel in the springs. The thunking noise seems to be better after that, not gone, but better.

Considering I've spent about three hours total adjusting them I'm still very happy.

Yeah, the bang I think was the springs settling. It hasn't done that since I left your place. Now it's sort of a solid feeling in the back. My tires don't help either because they have a very hard sidewall. It seems like one side is making the banging noise worse than the other. I also noticed that one side needed to be lowered all the way down just to even out the car so I think there is a lot of breaking in to do on the springs. I guess I'll wait a week or so to do the alignment. I have a long way to go before these are perfectly adjusted.

Driving into work today they felt great. As long as the streets are somewhat decent the ride is great.

Ok, I am not going to post pics till next weekend because it's about the same height as the H-Techs I had before. I didn't slam it down like some like. I did get an alignment this weekend and it made the ride much smoother. My camber was really off in the rear making me ride on my sidewalls. I continue to be happy with them.
Price was about $850.

I have S-techs on Factory struts. They look great but they are bottoming out constantly... what a headache! Been looking at these Megans and wondering if anyone else has these.
