Default Megan Strut Bar!

I just wanted to vent about installing the Megan Strut bar yesterday! Anyone else install one of these? I don't know why Scion made it so difficult, but the back nut on the driver side was a royal pain in my ___! It took me 1/2 hour to get it out even after WD40 because their was a metal piece that stuck out over the nut at the top so I couldn't get the nut off the top of the screw!

Then, to make matters worse, when I finally got the Megan strut installed, I realized I wasn't able to get the plastic piece under the wipers go back in place because it rubs at the top of the strut bar. In the end it turned out nice, but what a pain for what seemed to be such an easy mod!

Anyone else experience difficulties with this seemingly cake install?

I have it aswell, took me about 20 mins to install. I didnt have any problem with it. Only time I did have a problem with it is when I installed the torque damper.

I installed mine with ease also. Just kind of a pain to take off the wipers, wiper cowl, etc just to get to the bolts.

Then of course alot of the clips broke, but zip ties solved that. Took me about 20-30 mins. Then when installing the engine damper I just loosened the drivers side, took off the pass. side, put on the bracket and tightened it all back down. Then I installed/adjusted the torque damper.

The rattles however are an on-going mod.

Where the cowl is rubbing onthe bar trim the cowl just a bit.......in the center left side where it is right on the bar.........otherwise the vibration it makes will drive you insane......took me about 4 days before I could take it no more with my bar.
