so a few months back, i got into a pretty bad curb accident, broke one wheel, bent the other, so on and so on

not gonna get into the story too much, lost control, spun out ended up going into and over a sidewalk w/ the car completely parallel to the curb but anyways

in addition to having to replace 2 wheels i had to rebuild my L/R hub, replaced the hub and bearing assembly and rotor. got rid of the main problems and all those horrible noises went away

anyways, a couple of days ago, i started getting huge thumps from my L/R suspension, everytime i went over any kind of bump there was a large thumping

at first i assumed it was something in my hub, but then after a little while i heard the noise coming out from mainly inside my cabin, so my thought now is i blew my shock

do people agree? im gonna investigate more before i have to take it back into the dealer even though i already took it in after the accident. im guessing they just heard the squeaking from the hub and only checked that.....____ers

well it's my fault that i ____ed up, so now im paying the price, anyways, if anyone has had suspension damage and can relate to me please give me some feedback

 

Sounds like a blown strut to me actually. Sorry about your misfortunes though! the TRD Struts are BadArse!

 

you might have loosened where the strut bolts on to the tower under the hood, it will make noise like that.

 

never touched my struts but i guess ill have to take a peek
