Default Need help ASAP, spring install

im helping my friend install trd lowering springs on his tC. we got the strut/shock assembly in place, but we dont know what to do with one of the rods that dont fit anymore bc of the new springs. im talking about the rod that has two ball joints en its ends. one end connects to shock and one connects to s aupport beam at the bottom.

what am i supposed to do with it? take it off?
please help ASAP.

Sure sounds like the swaybar endlink. Put a jack under the suspension arm on the other side, and jack it up until the endlink lines up with the mounting hole. OR vice versa, depending on whether the arm is too low or too high.
