Need Help Hotchkis Lowering Springs Uneven
i recently purchased tvs system. after install rear is still to high. i measured before and after with a full tank of gas on a level concrete floor. i did one side at a time so i didnt get the struts backwards. everything is aligned properly as far as the strut mounts. im lost need some help please.
Front: before 26 3/8" after 24 1/8"
Rear: before 27 1/7" after 25 5/8"
i installed kit in dec. so they have had plenty of time to settle. the front has been this low from day one of install. i bought the car new in march so i figure the front struts are still good.

i contacted hotchkis and they said that my factory before ride height was a half in taller than their test vehicle. they tested an 05 Tc. they are going to send me a new set of front springs to test. the new springs should raise the front a little and make the back set down. my overall ride height should be around 25" from ground to fender. hotchkis said that they are going to get an 06 Tc in to do more testing on. they have been very helpful and cooperative with their tech support.
hotchkis thinks that is the problem. i haven't really seen anyone post an '05 factory ride height. i measured mine because i wanted to the difference before and after. i wouldn't trade my tvs for anything. it handles great.
I recieved two new front springs from hotchkis yesterday and installed them last night. This morning the car was setting pretty level at 25".
I will drive it around a few days and see if the springs settle.
The new spring measured about a half inch longer than the old ones. I dont think any spring should settle that much. Anyways i will give Hotchkis a call to tell them what is going on and i will post back after a few days of riding around.
