on ystc.com, one of the member has a signature saying "arguing on the internet is like competing in the special olympics, even if you win, you're still retarded".
i think about this now everytime i want to start something.

i have talked extensivly with eric, and not once did he ever tell me to buy a stoptech kit, in fact I bought a powerslot kit, because of the set up Im running, I think the idea is intresting, but I think people would look at you like your a clown if you roll up in a Tc with this kit, might as roll brembo brake covers......I just dont see the point of this kit, when there are already kits made for the Tc from respected brands like stoptech, endless and others.......

and i did not know we could "own" a thread in a public fourm.....so if you see me post any thing please paypal me .50 for every post, or I will tell you politely tell you to "get off my thread" ...... LMAO at best

I have been impressed at the attitude many people take on this site, but my product will do the talking, for all the doubters, 2 kits have been prepaid, just because I haven't been on here for long doesnt mean I don't know my way around the block, for all of you that have issues with my product, my numbers posted, man up and call me so I can explain in simple terms that this product has been thought out, researched and will work. Funny thing is, the more some of you weirdos post on here, the longer you keep my thread going, LOL, thanks for the free promotion, LOL

BUMP for vids. I want to see a BBK comparison with Brembo, Wilwood, StopTech, Endless (although these aren't big) and of course, these Porsche brakes.

Hmm.. can't forget a control. One stocker too.

No videos, but a similar type of test has been run in the past in the RSX challenge:

http://www.stoptech.com/company_info...hallenge.shtml

For what its worth, we had no hand in building the cars, were not present during the testing and didnt hear about the results until it was released to the public at SEMA 05.

Here's a pic of the last car he sold his Porsche BBK kit too!

The guy tried to pull into a parking spot at the local supermarket and his brakes overheated due to the Porsche-ness of them and he went head on into the wall. Thankfully he wasnt hurt and he was able to salvage the Porsche BBk for yet another car.

I thought because of the design for Porsche they must be good and adapting them shouldn't be that bad. Instigator I have a question shouldn't the RSX Challenge only be used to compare the different brake makes for the Acura since they are supose to have more power and also their suspension and braking parts are different for our cars?

I'm asking since I don't know a thing when it comes to brake system!

While the acura platform is quite different than that of the tC, the fact still stands that all of the kits used in the competition were off the shelf parts direct from the manufacturers that were engineered for the RSX specifically. When you consider that the DOT competition tires alone can easily shave 10 feet off of a bone stock cars stopping distances, its pretty eye opening when the other guys can actually be worse than a stock car on stock tires with the race tires they used. We do the brake balance testing on all of the kits we produce to ensure we will at least match the performance of a stock car if not beating it. This information just further proves how important proper brake balance is to braking performance and why bolting some unknown caliper onto your car can seriously reduce performance. If the proper caliper is chosen and matched to the rotor size that best suits the application, proper balance can be acheived, but it requires specialized tools like radar guns, highly accurate measurements and a testing regiment that allows consitent data to be recorded and compared agianst stock data.

An excellent article on the extent of the testing we go through before a kit is released is available here: http://www.zeckhausen.com/Testing_Brakes.htm

Thanks for the info. Learn some new things about braking systems.

Another question do the Stoptech BBK clear the stock wheels or not?
