Got my brakes done about 2 months ago and im getting a squeeking sound from both front brakes. I checked the pads they still look brand new. and my rotors were grinded down when the pads were changed. anyone know wut this could be...maybe crystalizATION ON THE PADS?

 

Probably don't have the break disk quieter on the pads. Alot of pads will squeak without it.

did you get them put in backwards?! lol

 

Did you do the Proper "bedding" of the pads after install????

 

Maybe the brake grease wasn't put on the anti-squeal shims. I know my passenger side pad squeals really loud but it's only when the pads are cold. New OEM brake pads too.

 

Does it rain often?

 

yeah they are oem replacements. it was done by a brake shop but it wasnt sqeeking for the first month. i did not see them bedding the pads. the direction of the pads are fine. as for the grease i didnt see them put it so im just gonna have to check it myself.

Also i have been running the same brake fluid since i bought the car in 05'. I have 84,000 miles on the car should i do a full flush of the brake system?

 

x2 if you didnt bed the brake pads properly (a proper brake break in proceedure ) the pads r likely glazed or crystalized as u refered to it

 

try spraying it down with brake quiet cans from wal-mart. its worth a try.

also get ceramic pads next time... or at least good ones.
