I'm about to install the front & rear endlinks to compliment the coilover install. I'm worried now. Fronts coming loose? Rears bending? I will be installing them, none the less.

Oh btw why do the fronts have absolutely no washers accompanying them? The rears don't have those fat black washers like in the pictures I see of them installed in all the pics. I went to Ace hardware to pick up some stainless steel washers and they did not have any that large in metric.

Please guys when at all possible don't skimp and send out zinc plated steel hardware. I know I was told when I bought my S1 kit that the hardware was all stainless.

That was b.s., it was all shiity steel. Even the Intercooler bracket which is now rusting all over my pretty intercooler.

Anyhows sorry for the rant. You guys make some pretty darn good kits! Supplying the right hardware is the perfect touch to keep the overall quality up.

The community does expect Quality out of DEZOD. It's definitely something to be proud of!

The front endlinks just got released, lemme look over the bill of materials and make sure the washers are included...The coming loose thing, it is more of an install error as discussed 3 times on this thread. Same with the rear endlinks bending.....

The washers for the rear are included, and if you require more spacing, as stated in the instructions, you will need 3/8" washers or spacers to keep the assembly more vertical.

With respect to the S1 kit, nearly all of the hardware with the exception of the IC brackets and 1-2 other small things are SS. The IC brackets would triple in cost if they where stainless. If you are concerned with rust on them, I would advise you to sand them down and use maybe a rust-proof paint on them.

I doubt the endlinks are making the noise, it is probably the sway bar bushing that needs greasing.

Yes the Front and rear hotchkis sway bar is ajustable. If you make the fronts beefy and non adjustable height wise just like one solid piece like stock but only beefier that would solve all problems of having to "put all washers/nuts/adjust height" on the current front ones you have.

just make then non adjustable height wise(which doesnt do much anywayz if your telling everyone to keep it stock height as a stock endlink.

We are telling everyone to keep it stock if it requires less or more than stock on the setting your running. If you have an OEM, you can adjust it stock, but if you are running a stiffer adjustment where it requires it to be shorter than stock, obviously you will need to run that. Longer than stock may run better on some apps as well, and vice versa. What I am telling people is to measure, measure, measure....Simple as that! We all know stock holds well, but there may be some up or down movement required to make this deal mount better.

The Hotchkis sways where obviously intended to run the stock endlinks, so my guess would be that a stock height would (in theory) work. Almost all of the sways bars out encompassed this realm, however we all know from experience the bar manufacturers fell short on some designs and as a result left a void, which we here at Dezod attempted to address with making endlinks that adjust to accomodate for a slightly larger than stock endlink as well as a stock one. Being able to encompass all realms makes this a VERY attractive piece for a mere $69 in cost. The components are hard as crap with Teflon lining around the ball, which is probably overkill for most, but also so are the hardest sway bar settings. Couple this with, poor install and/or poor bar design, and some pot holes to boot and BAM, you have disconnecting, bent and misformed endlinks. Do you realize how hard it is to flex a piece of 3/8" SS rod vertically when only less than one inch is not engaged into a solid steel housing? It's requires over 4500lbs of thrust load, which is pretty damn aggressive!

The Fronts do not bend at all. They make horrible noise because of the fact that they are adjustable and all attempts to correct the nuts from moving have Failed with with locktite and locknut washers. The install was 100% flawless I can gurantee you that (Mechanical Engineering background). The adjustable portion is what is the main problem, its just not secuer enough to handle the harsh driving conditions. The Endlinks shift up and down internally because they are not secure via the threads. Nothing is disconnecting or bending up front. Its just the fact they the fish hook bars that go into the tubular housing has adjustability which is what I think causes the issues here. The material and form factor of the actual Unit is flawless.

How about I send the units into you and you adjust them to compensate for a Hotchkis front sway bar and lock the threads up properly and then send it back to me ? Then there shouldnt be any issues?

That, in theory would be great, however we do not deal Hotchkis, and I do not have any local customers that have Hotckis on their car as well. I have a 2006 TC with a Progress rear set-up, which is my wife's car, and a 2008 tC that is 100% stock other than our brake pads and tires. We are installing FR & RR endlinks on this car in the next week or 2, then turbo'ing it next month. All will be documented while this occurs.

I beg to differ. 95% of the hardware was zinc plated steel. It is what it is. I changed it all out to SS anyhows after many trips to the hardware store. No hard feelin's!

All of the bolts and such should have been SS, unless somewhere along way something changed and I did not know about it. I am not saying to calling BS. I will look into this ASAP.

Thanks, Paul I should've let you know sooner to help you guys keep the QC up.

You guys were great with customer support. Before and during the S1 install I kept calling with my many questions I didn't really feel like calling about that as well at the time.

Thanks for the kind words, and I found the problem. We have a mishap on one of the previous hardware orders, and as a result, the next order was just duplicated from the previous.
