The first gen tC has an oddity with the suspension. If I had to place a bet, I'm going to guess that the right side of the tC is slightly higher than the left. Try to tighten down the top nut on the strut once you're sure that the springs are mounted correctly.

Hey Ken, my car is lowered on Vogtland springs. My right is higher than my left. Is that normal for the tC1? If not, any way to solve the prob?

re-adjust your suspension... ^^

and to the OP are you sure that it isn't your tires hitting your fender liner? How low are you?

-i use to have the same problem when i lowered on TRD springs, i took it back to the place i installed, we hear the noise, took everything apart and didn't see anything loose, put it all back together, and the noise was gone, road tested, me and the tech were baffled by what the hell we heard.

-probably it seems higher because your usually driving and no one else is in the passenger, could that play a minor role?-
