potential new swaybar.
I am talking to the company that built the grand am cobalts and they are potentially interested in making us a rear bar...
If there is enough interest they will...so m questions...
What size?
Material??
also I will show there storefront the interest in this thread...

koni challenge cobalrs...they won like 3 consecutive championships...
they would be chromolly or whatever material desired which would allow them to be lighter or stiffer than anyother bar
They also could develope other suspension parts if wanted
They also have a very nice Corvette program...among other cars...
Company's name is Powell motorsports. Look them up...

Well I'm hoping that engi and ack will chime in...it would be truly designed for thetc...eibech is notorious for making their bars to soft...and I have no experience with anything but trd...
The bar will be chromolly...and they are shooting to be the best fit for the tc while being very competively priced...
And like I said if there are any other suspension parts we need I can talk to them and have them develope them...lca's with awesome Cabs ....etc,..

Well without even knowing what they plan on doing with the sway aside from the material they are using then it's hard to really gauge interest without any potential specs or price.
Price shouldn't be based on interest..it should be based on an amount that allows the company to make profit without being to expensive compared to the competition..and of course that comes with giving the customer a reason to buy there sway bar over the ones currently offered.
I'm all for new products but without any real idea of what they can do and what reasons I would have to ditch my TRD or even purchase it over something like hothckis or progress, it's going to be diffucult to gauge interest.

Thanks for your inpu/criticism. ...I am in no way a Salesman so bare with me...
They plan on being the lightest and most properly matched stiffness to the vehicle...right now it is very early stages...

I understand man..that's good to know that they are advertising it like that at very least..so the more info the better is what I was trying to get at lol

You only need a front bar if you run a really stiff rear.
If they are serious, they should be able to design a good one. But for some reference, I would ask for a bar with 2-3 settings with the softest being about the same as the trd race setting. The stiffest setting would then most likely be to stiff (too much oversteer) for most people on a daily driver, but should work well in autox. The middle setting would be a bit more agressive than the trd but still streetable. Obviously not near a stiff as a hotchkis rear bar since you then need a front bar to keep handling balance in check.
But, with the TRD and progress bars out there, it may be hard to find a good place in the market unless the price is right.
