Default problem with ss-p

i got a set of ss-p installed just the fronts for now. when i tried to adjust the damening on one side the little **** only moves back and fourth 3 clicks. the otherside is fine. is there somthing that i gotta do to "unlock" it so it clicks freely through out the full range?

Don't have a set of these, but very interested in getting some, so I am watching this one.

They have 16 levels of damping so it should turn 16 clicks counter clock wise from the stiffest setting.

Mine go WAY further than that tho. When I got them it was something like 26 clicks to full stiff where it stops turning even tho the manual says it should be 10. I emailed Tein but I never heard back from them.

yeah i do not know why it was stuck but i got it to work, just used an allen key and it loosened right up. i was afraid to use it thinkin i might hurt them. mine go way more then the 16 too. i guess u loose performance after 16 clicks that may be why in the manual they say that u might cause damage to the coilovers if u go more then 16.

Dont the ss-p's have 32 settings now? or is that only if they have the EDFC motor thingy attached to them?

mine goes more than 16, it was 32 if im not mistaken (counted it only ones)... theres supposed to be only 16 if done manually and with edfc 32 coz you can set it to adjust halfway, dont know bout this but could it be possible that the new ssp have 32 levels (manually) to match with the new EDFC kit available... or if not your right, you cold lose performance plus potentially damage the dampers.. but i dont think so..
