I just got the coilovers installed like two days ago by my mechanic. I was told by the company to not adjust the top ring but just adjust the bottom to adjust the height, and I passed this on to my mechanic...which they claimed they did. I'm only dropped like an inch and a half, but I hear a lot of bumping noises in the back when I go over bumps medium or small...Kinda sounds like something is hitting something. The fronts are fine and don't make noise, has anyone else had this problem? The guys at B&G said my top mount bolts might be loose, but the mechanic checked it all today...any other ideas?

 

O btw, they are the RS2.....heh, dunno if they make another type for the tC.

 

Sounds like the nuts on the top of the strut tower are loose... like the B&G people say. If I were you I'd take a look at everything myself and not totally trust the mechanic's word just yet.

 

yeah def going to do that....also I went into the trunk and started pushing down, and I heard a lot of noise comming from the hydrolic lifts on the trunk lid....I know people have had problems before, but jesus those things are making a lot of noise.

 

let us know what the problem was when you figure it out
