I still think the Hotchkis is a great bar. I don't want to say it's better but it's definitely going to outperform the Progress mainly because its least aggressive setting is still tighter than the Progress' most agressive setting. Unfortuanately, the Hotchkis only comes in a set with the front sway which most people find unnecessary, especially on this car. That being said, Progress wins out!

are we talking about sway bars or strut bars? and doubling up both bars... will that make a difference?

I have the progress sway. It is amazing. And you do not need a front sway b/c it just cancels out the rear.

Is this true.. it doesn't seem like it would, because why on earth would they make a front strut if it canceled out the rear?? doesn't make sense!! if the hotchkis is stiffer than the progress bar and the hotchkis i know for a fact is thicker is size therefore thicker is better. i do trust progress more! but i believe progress may lost the sway bar competition . But progress coilovers win hands down!!!!

What do you mean by this statement? I wasn't aware there was a "sway bar competition" going on

lol. well there isn't a "competition" just debate. lol sry. but i do think the hotchkis is better cuz it's stiffer and has both front and rear. I do love progress> I trust them. As far as progress sway bars go I believe your just paying for the name. If you wanted to get coilovers>>> Progress ftw!!!

heh yea, but I think one sway isn't really "better" than the other. They're just for different applications. Sure, the hotchkins is stiffer, and would stiffen up cornering more, but its also going to give you a harsh ride (from what I hear). These other sways are designed to stiffen up cornering without making the ride too harsh.

I honestly don't mind a stiffer ride. What kind of sway bar you do have or want to get paul?

Paul (Dezod Paul)

In the progress pics on your site, it shows 2 bars. I can tell which one is the rear, but is the other one the front, or are they both rear? Thanks.

it's a generic pic. The item verbage indicates it is clearly just a rear bar.

Oh ok, then yea... go with what you're comfortable with . I don't mind a bit stiffer, but I can't have too stiff because some of the roads around here are just plain ridiculous... ugh.

I'm looking into either the TRD or this Progress sway since people are saying it provides a more improvement compared to the TRD while still not making the ride too harsh. Progress is more expensive from what I can see, but if its better, then the price might be justified.
