Default Pros and cons of trd shocks and springs vs tein basic

So which would be better for a turbo car that is used as a daily driver? and keep in mind that where I live roads are harsh but I do want a good handlign car.

Also I heard there is an issue with tein and hotchkis so I guess itd be tein with progressive sway or trd setup with hotchkis sways - would the handling be the same in the end? or would the coilovers make that much of a difference.

Tein basics are on the stiffer/harsher side so I would say go with the TRD stuff. Im using that on my car and the ride is still excellent with far better handling than stock. Along with the Hotchkis sways you will have more than you will ever need for driving hard on the street.

i just have the trd springs and hotchkis sway - thats a big enough difference for me with handling.

Warranty sums it up pretty well. If my shocks and springs blow out tomorrow...I get new ones for free and the problem fixed.

(and I get to drive around a demolition derby car.....I mean a rental car for a few days)

i love my tein basics. being able to adjust the height is a really plus for me as I switched from 17 to 18 in rims i can always add or reduce wheel gap. but then again the roads where I live aren't too bad

IMO I'd go with the TRD springs to keep the suspension geometry in tact. Anything lowered more than 1.5 inches and your working against yourself in regards to handling performance. I plan on dropping my on TRDs with some adjustable shocks, maybe the Hotchkis sways, and I'm done.

^^^ Yessir. Height adjustability is handy, but 99% of people set it and forget it.
