Default questions about lowering springs settling and alignment

Okay so i know this has been copiously talked about, but my situations different, and I would love some advice.

So tomorrow, I'm getting a set of lowering springs in the mail, and I hope to put them on saturday. (key word: hope)

the only thing is, on the twenty first through twenty fourth, I'm headin down to kansas, which is gunna be like a 8 hour drive (roughly 500 miles) both ways.

I was just wondering what to do about the alignments.
P.S. the springs are used, so i don't know how that affects the settling rate
and i have a lifetime alignment deal at firestone so i guess it wouldnt be too horrible to get before i leave and when i get back.

just lookin for some opinions, thanks!!

I realize you're dealing with used springs... and you have some trip to go on... but really, the answers are just in the sticky in this forum. You'll just need to use some common sense after reading it.
