Default Quick Hotchkis Springs Question

I got mine installed last saturday and I was so happy when I saw the car's stance. It's like 2 small fingers at the back and front. I know I still have to wait like 3 weeks before the springs fully settle. Added to that, I have a heavy sub box at the back and a box for emergency tools.

Now my question is, when the car settles, do you think the rear will be lower than the front because of all that weight? Do you think I should take the boxes out and wait for the springs to settle before putting it back in? Just wanna be sure that the car's stance will be the the same and even because I dont want my car looking at the heavens.

its going to settle however its going to settle wether you put the weight in now or in 3 weeks.

i dont think that it will sink too much in the rear, even with the audio.

Alright. I think I'll just wait for 3 weeks just to be sure. I just don't want to regret not putting it out. :D

OMG!!! 3 weeks of pure midrange and tweeters!!! Oh well...

But does anyone here had that problem with Hotchkis springs? Or am I just crazy... LoL!!!

You will be fine. Hotchkis makes a quality product. I have since switched to a higher end set of springs Vogtlands! But all and all the hotchkis will settle even and fine.

*watching* let me know if your back end drops any, im considering either the H&R's, Hotchkis, or TRD springs so far im leaning towards the Hotchkis but i dont want to be dissapointed when i fork over some cash, I'd rather get it right the first time

Alright thank you. I think I'm just paranoid, I guess...

Well actually, I've never heard any problems with these springs being not even or the rear being lower than the front. I suggest you go with hotchkis springs and you'll love your tC more. :D Add some Hotchkis sways too! :D

^^^ You're one of those guys who influenced me to go for Hotchkis!

Look at that car of yours, so hot and sexy!!!

Did you put all that load on your car after the springs got installed? Or did you wait for the springs to settle first?

LoL!!! Are your springs pretty quiet? Or do you sometimes hear a noise? I can hear something but I'm not sure if it's the rear springs or just my tools at the back. I hope it's the box with the tools that makes it.

i can't wait to get a set of these springs put on a long with the trd rear sway. i'm gonna wait till spring though, i don't see a point in doing it right now with winter coming but come march these will be on for sure!

It doesn't bother me either. It only happens when I drive over uneven roads, like doing an angle on dips, bumps, and driveway. I still love my Hotchkis springs!

Yeah, just wait till spring. I can't imagine mine driving on thick snow! I'm glad I'm in CA. Well, goodluck!
