rear s techs going out in under 10k miles?
hey everyone i have the tein s techs, and i noticed (while taking a b16 head out of my car for a friends integra) that my rear shocks are sloshy, bouncy like there shot already, shouldnt they be pretty stiff still or are they all a little bouncy... first time ive noticed this... i dont wanna get sways put in unless this is just a normal deal
Your running a stiffer spring on a shock for softer springs. Thats why the rear end would be sagging and bouncy. The stock shocks weren't designed to take the higher spring rates of the s-techs.
And adding a sway bar won't help a bouncy rear from shock wear.
Basically you need new struts that can handle the higher spring rates. Not a bad idea to do all 4.
