Default RSB help!

So I purchased a TRD rear sway bar about 3 1/2 months ago, installed it and everything was all good. A few weeks ago I went to get new tires and the person installing them said "yo your rear sway bar isn't connected on one side" I was dumbfounded. The nut holding it on came off.
So I go to my local Scion dealership and order a new nut for it. Pick it up and install it.
Now here is the problem:
I try to put the nut on, but I can only screw it on partly before the stud just starts to spin and wont tighten anymore. There is no way I could tighten it anymore than I have already. Any suggestions as to how to get it tighter because I know it cant be a good idea to leave it the way it is (nut it only half way on, can see half the threading still inside the nut)
Here are some picts to better show what im talking about:

Its been staying on like that for the past few weeks with thread lock, but I'd definitely like to fix it.
Big thanks to whoever can help me out!

i'm not too sure, but i THINK you can use an allen wrench to keep the stud in place.

I'm pretty shocked you were able to get the other one off without knowing that part.

FYI, TRDSparks has install PDFs of almost every TRD part on their website. Find the part and look in the upper right for install instructions.
