Default s tech designed for oem struts?

i was reading a super street mag the other day and i saw the tein s tech advertising that its designed to fit oem struts... is that true? if sooooooo... i was wondering could i then just drop the car without ever wondering about gettin aftermarket struts? cuz tein does say the springs are for oem struts...

yes, it 'fits' oem struts.. but you're eventually going to need to buy new struts later on because you're going to wear them out over time. unless you want your tC to just bounce constantly after bumps and dips.

all SPRINGS or LOWERING SPRINGS are designed for the OEM strut.

however. stress over time pressed upon the oem strut which was designed for a higher ride height and softer springs, the oem strut (shock) will weaken and eventually wunt be as smooth as stock anymore, thats why they designed aftermarket shocks, which you can probly get later down the line if you want

Do you think TRD Struts are suitable for the S-tech application or not. Where do the TRD struts rank compared to these other companies puttin shocks out there?

when i had s-techs, i got the TRD shocks/struts
i thought it handled and drove very well

thanks for the tips.. what are good struts besides the TRD? are threre any tokico or koni struts for the tc yet?

I have an XB that I put S-Tech's on and the ride was too harsh for me. Put a pair of Koni's on the rear (set to soft) and it made a huge difference.

I'm planning to get the Koni struts, but just the rears made such a difference. I'm going to put some miles on the oem fronts before I replace.

Or go coilover for nearly the same price. (spring & strut)
