Default S Techs and Camber Kits

Okay, so I just purchased a set of S-Techs and I am wondering if anyone has any infomation on wheather or not camber kits are really neccessary. I have already done the research, and I was planning on buying the Hotchkis rear cK and the Ingals front cK. Is anyone else running their car w/o the cK on Stock stuts? Is this a common thing to do? Any problems with alignment w/o the cK?

well... even if you don't *need* it, it's still another thing you can say that you have to a car show judge

i have s-techs on my tc and at first i thought i was kool but i checked my tires recently and i noticed that the insides of my tires were jus a little bit more worn then the outside.
so i would say get the camber kit to be safe. when i change my tires imma get a camber kit for the front.

tc, did you try and get an alignment after you installed the s-techs? If so, did the shop say it was alignable?

yea , i got an alignment and it was close to spec. maybe cause of potholes and bumps in the road it fell out of alignment. i will take it back to get an alignment when i take my front bumper kit off. it won't go on the rack the way it is now.

been on s-techs for a almost a year now and never needed camber kit. alignment was done and was just inside of factory specs so technically does not need camber kit. i've had even waer on my tires. just keep the suspension aligned and ur golden.

i just had my s-techs installed on friday. before i went with those springs, i was worried about camber problems due to the extreme drop that come with the s-techs so i searched for topics about camber kits and found this thread:

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=153063

the whole thread is pretty informative but check the post by gortok.

as for my ride, i have super, slight negative camber in the rear but i plan on getting an alignment within 2 weeks or so..
