Default S Techs and Koni Yellows Installed *PICS added*

I finally got my suspension setup complete. Yesterday I got my koni yellows installed wrapped in Tein S techs. The ride is bee u tee full. I had the s techs on the stock shockers for a while. If I had to guess the mileage I would say about 5K out of 13.5k. My mechanic didnt adjust the dampening so what ever setting they come stock is how they rolling. The S Tech offer a sexy drop and they are quite comfy for the experienced lowered driver. The koni yellows are the icing on the cake. I am completly satisfied. I laughed out loud when I seen the stockers they looked so cheap. The rears look like they were manufactured for a LEGO car model (lol).

Also I heard a lot of people say the koni raise the height of the car. That is complete BS. If you or your macanic know your *ish that wont happen. My car is the same height before and after.

^^You are too funny.

How much did you pay for your Koni's? I have a TRD drop on the stockies and I'm just curious how much they are compared to the TRD Struts/Shocks.

The koni's where 562 shipped from LTB Motorsports. You should be fine if your dropped on trd springs with stockers. The trd drop is about 1.5 i think? The reason I went koni is because my s Tech are 2.5 front and 2.0 back. Stockers were bound to pop.

yeah, there was another thread that mentioned something about a shop installing the rear perch of someones car upside-down causing to raise the rear. to me that was idiotic on the shop's part.

anyways, did the shop do the front struts as well? if so, what was the whole installation cost? thinking about getting h&r race springs with koni's.

hey..i was the one who had the rear struts installed upside down..and yes those shop fools were very idiotic for not doing it right. anyways..i have a question ...do you hear any strange sounds coming from your struts? i noticed a knocking/popping? sound coming from my struts after the koni install.

i didnt want to take it back to the shop that installed it...for obvious reasons..so i took it to the dealer and they said that nothing can be done about it. just wondering if anyone who has this setup (stech/koni) have ever had a similar problem???

Maybe i do remember hearing something but its very rare its not consistant. what I do get is a lot of road debris hiting the rear wheel wells (try saying that three times fast) over all im very satisfied.

this is because the front stock struts need to be cut.
