Well setting your car up the "right way" doesn't necessarily have anything to do with being able to raise or lower your car.

It sounds to me like you haven't done much research at ALL for this. So I'd suggest searching a little on the forums. Read through the stickied threads. Read through some of the posts in the suspension forum. Look at the picture threads of lowered cars... etc...

It's hard to help you when you sound like you have no idea what you really want or don't even have any ideas of what you'll prefer.

I dont know much about cars thats why im asking for help.. I have read in the Forms and alot of people are using lowering springs , But I think Its because there alot cheaper, I havent heard alot about the TRD Coilovers , I also know that most people Use 18's for rims .. But I dont know if 19's would look to big on the car?

Well we have a whole other forum for wheels. And that's very much a personal preference. There's a lot of info on what size wheels/tires and such work with what lowering package too. Some things rub, some don't. So you have to be careful what you choose. IMO, anything over 18" isn't worth it unless you really want a specific look for the car. But like I said, there's a whole other forum for wheel questions.

As for suspension, I'd suggest starting here:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=105012

It might help to explain some of the springs vs coilover things and help you decide what you actually want to go with. There are few factors to consider and that will outline some of them and give you a better idea of what you're looking for I think...

if money is not an option i would go with tein coilovers, i have tein s tech springs personally and i love their product. im running stock shocks struts too, the ride is not that stiff. also keep in mind if u get big wheels and lower ur car too much ul have a rubbing problem. personally 17s and low profile tires with like a 2 inch drop looks really sexy on the tCs

But for what reason would you want to do that? Like would it be a regular occurance for some reason? I'm not trying to be a dick... ... just trying to play devil's advocate and find out if it's really something you'd need to do or just something that sounds "cool" and you'd like to have. Because it's not like it's super easy to raise or lower the car. There isn't a button or anything that does it (unless you want airbags... haha). It's a manual thing you have to do at EACH wheel. So how often would you really be adjusting it?

My Instinct says to go with the coilovers . Becuase Lowering springs are Fixed, and If my car is too low I can have it Raised up. I know you have to have it on a lift to set it , but once its set to my liking I should be happy... But im thinking of going with TRD CoilOvers because they are Ment for the Scion tc's...

I think any drop helps with the tC for the tires to fit in the wells better, if money isnt a problem just decide how much of a drop you want. I went with a relatively smaller drop (TRD lowering springs) but with 19 in rims. You also gotta decide if your modding your car for speed or looks. My car lost a lot of its get-up-and-go with the clunky 19's but im also not really modding my car for speed but more for looks, so you got a few things to consider. Look around on the forum and see what looks good and what is the most functional for your taste

Coilovers are basicly for the track to tune in a suspension...........search it out here for 30 days on the board like the rest of us have done and then pick a drop height..........

TRD 1"
Htech 1.9 fr/1.5 rear
Stech 2.5 fr/2.5 rear
hotchkis.....even lower in many cases

if you go lower thatn TRD or Htechs you will need Struts to last long enough to enjoy them.............

if you are running stock wheels tires..........research that before you drop..............

Here is my example..........I chose htechs...........nice drop but still gives me room for the crappy roads here in Seattle..........
Also going 18" rims and tires with 40 off set and 225s tires so no rubbing problems............

fact is if you go low you will need to do the math to keep from problems.............

coilovers ore great do not get me wrong........I love the SS Teins...........but realisticly.........i don't need them at all...........

Ok bro here it is !!! The Tein Basic coilovers are all you really need ! The SS and SSP would be more if you decide to do AutoX ! Look up some Tein Basics and get those . The TRD are way overpriced ! And you wil probably be looking at $300 installation from anyone if not more !! Tein is actually meant for tCs also ! TRD offers different things for all types of toyota cars and trucks so dont think TRD is a tC exclusive product !
