Default Scion tC Coilover Info Chart

I have been working on this for a while.
I have taken info from a number of other
charts and I have looked up a lot of the info myself.
I have tried to make sure that there was at least 2 sources
but I may have gotten some of it wrong.

Anything to add .............. ?

so the ssp come w/ 16 but when you add the EDFC is doubles to 32?

I'll double check both of those and add them.

Thanks for the help

default on the EDFC is 16 but you can change the setting so it will let you adjust up to 32, i guess it adjusts halfway so it doubles..

Damper adjustments without the EDFC is done by clicks (16 settings), with EDFC 32 adjustment option, I think it does finer adjustments so it adjust in between clicks or halfway adjustment

any more updates on this?

as for spring rates, the closer to stock, the less harsh the ride usually?

Yeah... the higher the number the stiffer the ride.

Closer to stock is more comfortable but also has more body roll.

I have not added the info B&G's but I will. Still looking for more info if any one wants to help out.....

I think the H&R info is a little off, i found this on an old thread:

Tein Basic - ~$779 (1.4"-2.7"F/1.4"-2.6"R) (392 lb/in F/ 559 lb/in R)
Tein SS - ~$1079 (same as basic) (same as basic)
Tein SS/P - ~$1189 (same as basic) (same as basic)
Progress - ~$979 (1"-3"F/1"-3"R) (250 lb/in F/ 350 lb/in R)
H&R - ~$1050 (.75"-2.7"F/.75"-2"R) (estimate 200 lb/in F / 325 lb/in R)
Tanabe Sustec Pro S-OC Type II - ~$879 (3/8"-2"F/ 3/8"-2 3/8"R) (336 lb/in F/ 448 lb/in R)
Tanabe Sustec Pro S-OC - ~$1059 (same as Type II) (same as Type II)

seems like H&Rs and then Progress CS1s are the closest to stock, for smooth ride quality that is.

THANKS man!

I'll look into that info and update my chart. WHen I was thinking about getting CO's those were the exact two that I was thinking about getting. I just went for a ride in a friend of mine's car that has the H& R's and they road great. Of course they were stiffer but not as stiff as ppl make it out to be. It stuck right to the road and over bumps you can feel them but from what I had read on here I thought that it was going to be rediculious. They felt great.

np!

yeah, i'm upgrading to CO's soon and am stuck between H&R and Progress CS1. after searching a good bit, it seems both are very close in terms of ride quality and it just comes down to personal preferance. i read nothing but good things for both each of them on the TC, whereas the Teins feel like you're riding the flintstones mobile.
