It requires a 5mm spacer. I will be installing a StopTech kit on my car with stock wheels with 5mm spacer in the next few days and will take pics of the install. The TRD kit has very similar diemnsions to the Stoptech kit.

Try TRDsparks

Thats one of the few places Ive seen the TRD kit advertised. Its for an 04 Celica GT-S but is compatible with the tC

So I've read a few posts stating the TRD Big Brake kit fits the tc. Is that kit front and back, or just front? And does it require any spacers, or any modifications of any kind?

Its a front only kit. If you use the stock wheels, you will need at least a 5mm spacer. I used a set from H&R which I still have and will be happy to sell if you want them. PM me

Powerslot bbk rear? That's just the rotor, right? Stock rear caliper?

Yes, Adds a vented rear slotted rotor. Relocates the stock caliper. Same rear kit as the car pictured above in silver

Yeah, I really like the TRD kit, but it's SO big it would dwarf the rear and look funny. I may go with the Wilwoods. Doesn't Brembo have something out now?

Wilwoods are monster size also. 13" x 1.10" rotors. Smaller get somthing like the rotara. Stock rotor, large nice 4 pot caliper.

Aren't you worried that the brake bias may be all out of whack by mixing brake kits? Or is there a way you can test the bias?

Also, why is it that most bbk are for the front wheels only? Wouldn't braking performance be better if bbk upgraded all 4 wheels? Plus the car would look a lot better with all 4 wheels upgraded.

If you are looking for a custom BBK check out fastbrakes.com
I got a 12.2" drilled/slotted rotor w/ Wilwood Superlite 4 Piston Calipers. These are the same calipers used on Wilwood's 13" BBK.
Brian can make any combo you want really. This is great for those that don't want to get spacers or want diff parts.
I'll post a pic later
